Our idea is simple. We try to make events that people who like things outside the norm are going to enjoy. It's a good system, because if people consistently have a good time, we make money, and if they don't, we become very sad and have to boil our shoes during the hard New Jersey winters. We are vaguely neurotic about attempting to create events which people will enjoy, whether they're attending, vending, performing, or helping out, and we like to try to give everything a bit of a twist.
Q: Is this a gothic event? Renaissance? Pirate/Ninja/Faerie? Geeky? Pagan? Fetish-friendly? Queer-friendly? Gaming? Anime? Musical? Scifi? Film? LARP? Rocky? Should I get dressed up? Dressed down? Wear normal clothes? Is it a friendly event? Will there be lots to do? Should I bring games/toys/friends/nothing in particular? Does this event throw a ton of diferent unusual pasttimes into a blender and make a smoothie out of them? Is said smoothie tasty, then? If I think the website and/or the idea are interesting, am I likely to really enjoy this?
